Amblyopia

Amblyopia, commonly called lazy eye, occurs when one eye has reduced vision due to poor coordination between the eye and brain during childhood development.

Causes:

- Strabismus (crossed eyes)
- Unequal vision in both eyes
- Vision deprivation due to cataract or droopy eyelid​
 

Symptoms:

- Poor depth perception
- Blurred vision in one eye
- Eyes not working together​
